Queen Elizabeth
- Domenic was very honoured to have met Queen Elizabeth at the
Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 1999. The Queen
was touring the athletes village, and was heavily guarded by a large
security force. The Queen did not stray from her assigned path or
stop to talk to anyone. Domenic offered her a Canada pin as well
as one from his hometown of Schreiber. She stopped and graciously
took the two pins and began to have a conversation with Domenic.
This was one of the most exciting events in all of Domenic's travels.
